16. Project Description: This project would include removing and replacing the existing roof on NDF's Western Region Nursery office building.
17. Project Justification: This project needs to be approved to prevent further water from leaking through to the staff and equipment occupied spaces of the building.

If this continues there will be additional damage to the structure, office equipment, and documents. Possible personal injury to staff members.

22. Please describe any health, life safety, and/or legal issues that will be resolved by completing this project (Short Essay): The roof has had repairs completed to it over the last several years. A new roof will prevent any further intrusion of water into the building which will increase the safety of staff and lessen the possibility of state property damage. Water infiltration can cause personnel accidents such as slipping and/or falling or electrocution/fire from wet electrical equipment.
