II. Narrative Section 
16. Project Description: Connect the fire alarm system in building 1300 to the main system panel located at building 1391 where all other agency buildings are connected.
17. Project Justification: This building is one of seven where individuals living at the Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) reside and is the only one that is not connected to the main panel. It is anticipated connecting this building to the main panel will improve response when an alarm is triggered.
18. Project Background Information: The alarm system in building 1300 was installed when Southern Nevada Adult Mental Health Services was utilizing the building for their programs. As such, the building was not part of the ICF and the alarm system was not connected to the main panel. The building is now used as part of the ICF and needs to be connected to the main panel.
