II. Narrative Section 
1. Project Description: Seal the metal canopy roof to prevent leaking and complete necessary painting repairs to the exterior finish.
2. Project Justification: The State Public Works Division Facility Condition Analysis report identified that the roof of the open metal canopy structure that provides a cover for the cemetery's heavy equipment, ride mowers, sprayers and other equipment used to maintain the cemetery grounds and perform burials of America's Veterans has extensive leaking and has caused damage to the exterior lighting system. This roof requires immediate repairs to fix the leaking and provide proper cover for the equipment it is to protect. This project also inlcudes repairs and upkeep to the exterior finishes. The structure was constructed in 2009 and it is important to maintain the finish, weather resistance, and appearance of the structure.
3. Project Background Information: It is not known why at the time of planning and construction of this structure the roof was not sealed to prevent leaking. Unfortunately now we are seeing the damaging results for not sealing the roof.
