II. Narrative Section 
1. Project Description: The Regional Warehouse located at NNCC stores all food and supplies for NNCC, SCC, WSC, and NNRC. The compressors for the both the freezers and coolers are over 20 years old. The life expectancy for the compressors is from 10 to 15 years. The freezers and coolers loose temperature and thus the ability to maintain a safe temperature for food storage on a regular basis, generally once a month.
2. Project Justification: The Regional Warehouse located at NNCC stores all food and supplies for NNCC, SCC, WSC, and NNRC. The compressors for the both the freezers and coolers are over 20 years old. The life expectancy for the compressors is from 10 to 15 years. The freezers and coolers loose temperature and thus the ability to maintain a safe temperature for food storage on a regular basis, generally once a month. The maintenance department is called out, generally after hours, an average of once a month on these units. Each time the compressors go down it costs time, parts, and potential food replacement costs.
3. Project Background Information: This project would replace the current generators with cost efficient generators. The storage areas would maintain constant temperature, thus complying with health and safety standards for food storage, would be more energy efficient, and would reduce repair costs. The cost of the current refrigerant is 4 times as high as the new refrigerant products used in the new generators.
