II. Narrative Section 
1. Project Description: Crack fill, seal asphalt paving, paint striping, curbs and repair several areas of asphalt paving throughout the cemtery's roadways and parking areas that are damaged and are a safety hazard.
2. Project Justification: The State Public Works Division Facility Condition Analysis report identified there are several areas of asphalt in the parking areas and roadways of the cemetery that are damaged and in need of repairs. The asphalt is rolling up and buckling on itself creating a thick mass of extra asphalt on the edge of the road in several areas of the cemetery. This has created a safety/tripping hazard as some areas of the thick mass are more than 4 inches high. The report also identified that the asphalt throughout the parking areas and roadways within the cemetery is in poor condition and many cracks have developed. Filling the cracks and sealing these areas are necessary to maintian good parking and roadway conditions. This project should be scheduled on a 5 year cyclical basis to maintain the integrity of the paving and prevent premature failure. It has been more than 6yrs since any repairs or sealing was done to the roadways and small parking areas of the cemetery.
3. Project Background Information: It has been more than 6yrs since the roadways within the cemetery were filled and sealed. The severely damaged areas are rolling up and buckling on themselves and are a safety hazard.

The repairs will eliminate the existing tripping hazards.
